Wallingford

If you should venture into Wallingford, take your metal detector – the town once housed the mint!  Although difficult to moor here, the town of Wallingford has much to recommend it, including a huge Waitrose!  The town centre is crammed with delightful restaurants and pubs, as well as the kind of shops you only seem to find on holiday.  There are also the usual standards of a good chemists, a couple of florists, a stationers and post office and a newsagents.
