{short description of image} Monday 11th, and just 1 lock between Maidenhead and Cookham Island for our annual cook out. Come along and help us barbecue something huge - and don't forget your teddy bear for the cutest bear competition.  Men please note, that's bear - not BARE!

{short description of image} Saturday 16th, 3 locks between Goring and Shillingford, just as well since we all have to be ready for tonight's dinner dance with the Commodore's Champagne reception on the lawns of the hotel. Don't forget to make use of the facilities including the pool and showers!  As with last year, we shall be able to order from the dinner menu, instead of the set menu, and the cost of £40 includes half a bottle of wine per person, Champagne at the reception, Elderflower cordial and jugs of iced water on the tables as well as a cheese board after dinner.  Menu

{short description of image} Sunday 17th, and just 1 lock for those with a hangover to get us up to our highest point at Clifton Hampden. Our moorings here benefit a local school, and it's not just your conscience that will feel good - the food at The Barley Mow is among the best on the river and the menu is fresh on the board each evening  .After dinner it's the Montmorency quiz - this year it's the General Knowledge, Popular Culture, The Classics, Absolutely Anything To Do With Water And The Scottish Questions Quiz!

{short description of image} Monday 18th and we start the day at Day's Lock for our annual Poohsticks competition. Then just 2 locks take us down to Wallingford for dinner at The Royal, a highly recommended local hostelry. Another new stop, with ample public moorings before and after the bridge. Menu

{short description of image} Tuesday 19th, and no locks today. Tonight is the organisers Champagne and canape reception with a special dinner at The Beetle & Wedge Hotel, Moulsford.  A day that's worth it for the fun, and the best food of the cruise, and the company, and the surroundings, and the river, and the Champagne, and the... you get the idea.  Definately not to be missed! Menu

{short description of image}

{short description of image} Wednesday 20th, and we get down to Pangbourne in just 2 locks. Our moorings here are on the terrace of The Swan Hotel, where we will be dining this evening. The menus are put on the board each evening, and comprise a few of the standard favourites, with specials created from the best food available on the day. The friendly atmosphere and efficient staff make this a welcome stop every year. Menu

{short description of image} Thursday 21st and we stay in Pangbourne, dropping below the lock to moor on the Meadow. A great opportunity for dinner al fresco, and weather permitting this will be a bring a plate supper. If the weather is awful, people will be asked to make their own arrangements.
