On behalf of the Commodore and his lady, and the Rear Commodore and her Consort, Graham and Natalie would like to welcome everyone to the 2003 Up-River Cruise, and introduce you to your Information Pack.

In this pack you will find an itinerary, as well as a skippers itinerary marked with locks and miles; a day plan, giving you details of the days events; menus for many of the events are attached to the day sheet; a booking form; and a list of all the stops between TMYC and Abingdon and what they offer by way of fuel, water, rubbish points, etc.

Would everyone please ensure their booking forms are complete and returned on an URGENT basis, no later than August 1st. This is very important, as we have to confirm numbers for certain choices by this date. You can update us by telephone later if need be, and once a booking is made, there is room for flexibility. We cannot guarantee getting extra people in at short notice. Please return forms to Natalie at PO Box 512, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8JQ. You can now book on-line at http://upriver.users.btopenworld.com/tmyc/upriver.htm where you will find an e-booking form.

The menus in this pack are not always current. Bearing this in mind, I will be updating you with further menus en route, and I may have to ask you for menu choices in advance. I know it’s not always easy to choose before hand, but sometimes we only avoid a set menu if we give prior notice of our choices to the chef. If you have ANY dietary needs or allergies, you should make your organisers aware. This is for your comfort and safety during the cruise. If you don’t want the club knowing your mobile phone number, please say so on the form, and we will exercise discretion.
